Gene's "Sounds for the Hounds" Peridot

I've been really curious...did any of you win the beautiful apple-green peridot Gene was giving away to raise awareness of puppy mills? I tried emailing to see if he did the drawing but didn't hear back from him. Fess up if you got it!

I didn't even know about it. But I think it's great that he's helping animals.

He's located very close to where I grew up, which is one of the worst puppy mill areas of the country. It's a great cause for sure.

I hope someone here got it so we can see pics. I'm not normally a huge fan of concave cutting, but it really works on this stone. It's so bright and lively!

The stone didn't end up getting won by a Pricescoper, but a very high percentage of people who entered the contest from Pricescope did get all the answers correct. Thanks to everyone for looking over the Sound for the Hounds site and taking the time to respond. With everyones help, I think we can bring an end to Puppy Mills. Any time you hear someone talking about a buying puppy, remind them that 99.9% of all puppies in pet stores come from puppy mills. Stop supporting these pet stores, and eventually the puppy mill business will dry up.
