Gemstone stud earrings

Hello all! This is my first post, so please be gentle if I''m in the wrong spot or having any other noob tendencies.

I''m having a difficult time finding some sapphire studs for sale online. Every place I''ve come across that sells them doesn''t have pictures of the actual pair, so if I were to buy online I''d be completely at the mercy of the seller as to how nice the stones look. I would have thought that something like stud earrings is simple enough that somebody would sell nice ones, but perhaps I''m mistaken and I need to buy the stones loose and have them set. Any ideas? Thanks!

Hello and welcome to the forum!

You can indeed buy sapphire studs ready made or you can pick your stones and have them set. I guess it depends on (a) your budget (b) if you''re very fussy on the colour/quality of the sapphires. If I''m not mistaken, Simply Sapphires had a pair of blue sapphire and diamond stud earrings on their website and I''m sure others sellers will have to. Take a peak at the sellers in the thread at the top of this page and work your way through. If I find any in my internet travels I''ll post you a link!

Try the natural sapphire company too - they have pairs of loose sapphires you can purchase, and they also have pairs of earrings already set. You can see the actual earrings here:

Don''t forget www.mineralminers.com also has some already set sapphires in yellow or white gold studs. I''ve bought from them before.
