The eBay garnet ring eventually arrived here in Oz ! Was very very patient.

Spotted it in "someone's got to buy this" thread and it sang out to me.

It's so beautiful

And it fits - I have very large ring size & it it comfortable (heading into warmer seasons)

not my ring but I believe these are likely rhodolite garnets!

Thank you all so much for the kind words. I really love it. It's not perfect obviously but the low profile, colour of stones & coverage are my sweet spot.

Here are some side/top view pics

I will look up the listing for stone dimensions - "three oval shaped bezel set natural garnets 6.5-5.5-5.3 X 3.74/3.55/3.21". I believe they are rhodolite garnets ! (From looking at similar era garnet rings). No brownish tones like some other garnet pieces I have.
