Well, I just have to tell you what I think is a great story.
My husand and I had gone shopping yesterday to some outlet stores in Carlsbad, CA....and came across a ZALES OUTLET, of all things. I said to my husband, "let''s go in for good laugh, and I can show you just how different a super ideal cut diamond is compared to a mall store diamond". My Whiteflash ACA is I in color and 1.54 carats. I found an "H" colored "certified" 1.5 carat stone at Zales and had the sales woman pull it out for me. I put that ring right next to mine, and the difference (as you all know) was unreal. My 1.54 literally looked almost DOUBLE the size of the 1.5 carat she pulled out. When I told her that my stone was 1.5 carats too, the sales woman couldn''t even believe it. She was so embarrased that she had to tell me that she only works there one day per week, for the discount......it was just too funny! I just had to share.
