Here is the boys' poll. Again, all names are historically royal favourites.

Current favourites at the bookies are George for a boy and Alexandra for a girl.

I've voted James.

I voted George. It's my youngest son's middle name, so I'm biased. ;-)

I've added Charles and Edward and allowed re-voting, since they are obvious royal names that I missed out.

I'm going for Henry. Which number would be? X?

I would guess that Edward would still be in the "no way" list for that family.

Except that the Queen called her son Edward, who is married to Sophie. He's in his late forties now, I believe.

Henry IX, I think. My money's on James, though!

True but that child had very low probability of becoming king while this one has a good chance. I imagine that the implications of the name will be much more scrutinized for the first born, direct in line heir than for the third son.

I voted King Arthur, just because I like the sound of it.

Don't forget that that if he is named, "Henry", he will have the same name as his uncle. Harry is actually a "Prince Henry".

Of course - I had forgotten that Harry isn't Harry!

This makes me favour Henry even more. The brothers seem to be very close. I pick Henry, with Charles as one of the 3 middle names. Heck - smash ALL these names together, and it should be about right.

Charles (Charlie) or James gets my vote but we will see. At least I picked the gender of it when everyone was saying he was a girl.

Okay, so I admit that I don't looove the name George, but George Alexander Louis is kind of cute when you string them all together. Maybe George will grow on me. Just doesn't sound like a baby name.

It's probably because I have to use associations of some sort to remember new students' names each year - but George + Alexander makes my mind jump to Seinfeld's George Costanza who was played by Jason Alexander!

I loved Kate's dress! Do you think she had a pink one in case it was a girl?

George was the bookies favourite. And they were right!
