From clear to cloudy, what happened!?

I pulled my ring out the the US cleaner today, and upon very close inspection, I noticed one of the micropave diamonds in the halo surrounding the center stone was obviously cloudy!! I know it wasn''t like that when I had it made, the micropave is vvs, none of them were cloudy, this is scaring me. It is so unnoticable that it could have very well been like that for a while, so not to blame the US, I just don''t know why a diamond would be clear and turn cloudy, unless it really WAS that way to begin with. I will say this, it is on the side of the halo, so when and if I smack my hand on something, that is the side that takes the beating, and I HAVE smacked the side of this halo against a hard object or two, or three, or four, so is it cracked or something?! I just have no idea, I''m begining to think micropave is more trouble than it''s worth though, seriously!!

most common cause is dirt on the pavilion.
It is far more common than a cracked stone.
Have a Jeweler check it out.
