...ok, so we are still working on the getting hitched in France. I have been looking on the web to see what flowers are in season august/september and unfortunatley am not having much luck

I want to base my colors on what is popular (readily available) at this time of year! Any enlightenment on this would be greatly appreciated.

Whereabouts in France will you be?

The south, Bordeaux.

That time of year you could do amazing things with wheat and grape vines for centrepieces and decorations. (Both traditional fertility symbols for weddings

I''m trying to remember what was around in Tuscany in August/September - if you want wild flowers there should be lots of daisies, lavender, sunflowers etc

Obviously they can ship in anything else you want - depends how you see your flowers.

I''m trying to only use British grown flowers to support local growers and reduce my carbon footprint - If I have to import some, I''ll be paying to plant some trees to offset the damage.

I was born in England...Southampton area. I love the idea of wild flowers, the french like to use orange blossoms as the scent helps to ward away bad spirits.
