Hi,

Came upon a 1ct E SI2 at GOG for a decent price. What do you think? The cut is a 0 on the AGA scale. Its not as sparkly as their H&A diamonds on their machine but it looks nice to me. This would be an upgrade from a .41 princess cut with a deep pavilion that is H/I and vs2. I''m still on the look out for my 25th anniversary diamond. I hesitate to put the price on the web. Lets just say its below the average 1ct. price.

The price is already on the web silly!!!

Well, actually they didn't have the price I had to email them. But you're right I was a bit silly about that. Now to get the husband to agree. I wonder what powers I could use

OOPS!!!! That's not it!! I thought you said si1!!!! My bad!!! Now who is the silly one!!!!

Suz, you sound like me!!

My husband keeps telling me that he thought the 1 ct H/VS2 he bought me for my anniversary would tide me over. I am buying earrings now. I just told him NO- Now I'm hooked. I will always be bugging you for diamonds!!

That stone sounds like a good deal. That's a great upgrade from a .41. I went from about a .20 or .25 to a 1.08! My husband is amazed how little the old diamond looks!! Hearts and arrows are nice, but if the price is right, and its an AGA 0 so it can't be UGLY!! I say go for it! I would be curious as to what the price is. Please let us know!

Its $4300.00. I've been doing a lot of research on this subject and that sounded like a pretty nice price. It does have inclusions that you can see through a loupe but the table percentage is right on for a normal ideal cut stone. A 1ct. is all I want. I would love it mounted on a smooth simple band that could be worn alone. I don't like stacking rings as I have very short fingers.

What do you think of the price. I am getting very nice emails from the people at GOG.

I think it looks like a very nice stone!!! I think GOG is awesome!!!
