Follow up

So ever since the thread I made about the dreaming issue I was having, I have not had any dreams about that particular person.

In fact, ever since the dreams stopped, he hasn't been in my thoughts much.

On my FB newsfeed today it showed that he is now in a relationship with a girl. It isn't anyone I know (he moved away to a different state for work) and it is not a typical girl he would go for. Maybe he finally realizes looks are not everything? Anyhow, for whatever reason I am elated. I really don't know why. Maybe this is the closure that I needed? I can't exactly say HOW it can be but something feels different now. Maybe I'm just glad he didn't end up with the girl that he left me for (real mature of me). Anyways, I just wanted to update all of you who followed my thread.

I understand your last remark....I think if someone leaves you for someone else and they end up being "the one" you feel like they were passing time wiht you until they found "the one".

I agree with Amysbling. I'm glad that you are feeling better and that the dreams have left you. I've been having nightmares of a different color, and just want to be able to sleep.

Possibly! I knew eventually their relationship would end.

Something else I'm proud of: I didn't wish him a happy birthday this year (just passed...4 days before mine), usually I always do no matter how friendly we were within the year. Not this time.
