medium blue fluorescence vs. faint which can be more desirable to look at in the lighting?

Faint will most likely be completely unnoticeable, unless you have a "blacklight".

A tale of two diamonds that have gone dancing together...

With my colorless (D) medium-blue fluorescent diamond I can't see the fluorescence in daylight. However, under blacklight (boogielight) it glows nicely. Very visible.

A friend's wife has a near-colorless (G) with faint-blue fluorescence. In boogielight it is difficult to see that fluorescent quality (unless you get the ring close to the light source). However, in normal daylight the fluorescence may help her stone appear closer to colorless (D,E,F) than other Gs I have seen.

(The fact that her G is an AGS 0 in cut may also be helping the overall appearance)
