Florida - Orlando & Miami

We're going to be taking the kids to disneyworld and the new harry potter park next week... does anyone know of any good deals for the parks? Also, while I have driven past Miami I've never stopped there - anyone have any good ideas of stuff to do there that is kid friendly? Though we have a 16 year old who can babysit if there is something extraordinary.

How long will you be staying?

You can usually get a stay an extra day free pas to one of the universal parks. Harry potter, IIRC, is at islands of adventure and you should be able to get into universal studios the next day for free (if the deal is still running).

Check on disney's site. If you are staying a number of days, they'll sometimes offer 4 day tickets at a discounted price.

Miami is ok but it is a 4 hour drive from orlando. If you are willing to do the drive, there are beaches, good food, parks, zoos, museums, etc. that you can visit.

I'm not sure what kind of deals are going for the parks right now. If you get the chance, take them to Sea World though.

It's still flexible. We fly into orlando on friday night and out the following saturday morning. We could spend the whole time in orlando but I don't think we have it in us to do 7 days of amusement parks. I am thinking drive to miami early saturday and spend sat and all day sunday there and drive back to orlando on monday and spend tue/wed/thur/fri at the parks.
