Hi everyone,
I am starting to think about a special ring to mark the arrival of my second child (due in July), and I am thinking about a five stone or eternity band. I am really liking settings where the metal is minimized as much as possible- and I am drawn to this blue nile setting: http://www.bluenile.com/five-stone-floating-diamond-ring-platinum_42410... They make it in a five stone or full eternity style. I am thinking five stone will be more comfortable and durable than eternity- and might look better on my size 5 finger. But I'm very open to any advice!

Can anyone tell me if other vendors make similar settings that I should look at?

That link doesn't work so I can't see the ring you posted but generally if it's a ring you want to wear often I would say 5 stone since you don't have to baby the ring as much. Try going to a local store that carries both so you can try them on and think about what would work best for you. Good luck!

Memoire Purity is best for that style. If you want forever quality that's where you should look. Pearlmans carries Memoire.

Memoire makes a similar ring as part of their Purity collection. Both 5-stone and eternity. The setting may sit a bit lower, but it looks a lot like the BN in your link.

Maybe see if there's a Memoire retailer in your area and go see their version? Website is memoire.com and you can search for a local dealer.

I have a Memoire eternity (not the Purity style though) and I love it, wear it a lot, and it's held up well over the years. I've seen the Purity style in person and it's stunning. Nice to know that BN makes a similar style too.

Good luck!
