Hi, Newbie here… I’m considering getting Pearl studs for my every day earrings. Interested now because of the holiday sales going on.
Can you recommend a vendor and type of Pearl? What’s the best “bang for the buck” for studs, so to speak.
I’m thinking 8.5mm White tone Pearl for a starter stud. Can I approximate an Akoya look with a certain type and grade of freshwater pearl? I want something classy, classic that I won’t outgrow when I discover “better pearls” too soon. Should I start with a lower grade Akoya?
Imperfections and blemishes don’t bother me. I’m looking for surface luster, classic wardrobe piece, and wow factor. Thank you!
