So Ive decided to pull the trigger and ask my girlfriend to marry me. So, as you all have done before, I need to find the best diamond for the best price. I have been doing some research throughout this site, but I figured that it would not hurt to ask for your help.
Here is what I was thinking as far as the diamond goes:
-Shape: Round
-Carat: 0.75-1.2
-Color: F-I
-Clarity: VS2-SI2, as long as "eye-clean"
-Cut: Best cut possible, HCA score of <2
-Fluorescence: Faint, Med or None
-Polish: VG-E
-Symmetry: VG-E
I have a setting in mind, the petite cathedral pave platinum ring.
My price range is going to be between $5000-7000, including the setting.
