Ours is "Everything" by Lifehouse. My FI and I were watching one of our favorite shows and they played this song and he was in a particularly sweet mood and we danced in the middle of our living room. Whenever I hear the song now I just get this fluttery happy feeling.

I''m not technically engaged yet...but wanted to play on this thread...(getting engaged next month, so close enough, hee hee).

Everything was a strong contender, but I found an amazing jazz band with an amazing vocalist that I would like to book. They have a sample of Over the Rainbow on their website that is just gorgeous. I cry listening to it, but lots of stuff makes me cry right now that''s sappy or romantic...I think it''s a phase.

So now I''m leaning toward Over the Rainbow. Plus I gave bf the books Wicked and Son of a Witch and we''re going to go see the play Wicked in NYC (where I think he''s planning on doing the actual proposal) so it''s kind of a theme. I played the song for him last night and asked his thoughts and he wanted to know if this meant I was going to wear a pointy hat.

I love the Allison Krauss song too. There are just too many songs that would be good!

I really love this song... The original is great but the Robbie Williams version is fantastic! laurel_aurelia - I cannot even begin to tell you how jealous i am that you get to use "Bless the Broken Road"!!! DH hates country music and flat out refused... I did write the lyrics in my note i gave him just before the wedding, they just say everything I couldnt!

DH loves the Beatles and since he wasnt too into the planning, i thought our song should reflect him. I''ve always thought of "Something" as our song, but we didnt think it was upbeat enough, so we picked "I Will"

Aww thanks chickflick! We actually didn''t have a song and we were in the car listening to his iPod one day so we skipped through it looking for something to use.
