Ok so the story first. My fiance (then boyfriend at the time!) are visiting my parents in NY. He asked for their permission (which I found out about later) when we got in. Sat. night (also our 14 month anniversary) he wanted to go for a walk down by the waterfalls in my town. We got there and we talked and kissed and it was so romantic. Anyway, alll of a sudden he gets down on one knee, pulls out the ring and asks me to marry him. He said he knew when he met me 14 months ago he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me. It was incredibly romantic!!!

Now onto the ring. It''s a Lazare .76, G, VS2 in a custom setting. I don''t know the stats of the setting though. My best friend is engaged also and I swear they gave us the wrong diamond because it looks like her one carat. It''s huge and sparkly and I love it!!!

We went back to the same spot today and took some pics of the ring and us in the daytime. So here they are
