I''ve been lurking on this forum for a while now learning as much as I can about diamonds and e-rings. I was originally planning on buying an e-ring in March/April but found a really great diamond on GOG and took the plunge today.

GIA Cut Grade: Excellent
AGS Light Performance: Ideal
Optical Symmetry: Superior

Table Percentage: 56.22%
Depth Percentage: 61.82%

The diamond scores a 1.5 on the HCA and gets a "triple very high" on Gemex. I think it''s going to be a fantastic looking stone!
I''ve ordered it in a Mark Morrell Flame solitaire platinum setting without the "surprise" stones. I haven''t gotten a time frame on when it will be completed but I''m assuming it will be about 6 weeks.
Now for the hard part...asking her to marry me!
Ironic that 10 minutes after making the purchase we got in a huge fight (and we never fight). That will be a fun story to tell when I actually give her the ring!
