Check to make sure that the SI1 grade on #1 is not because of clouds. The report does not appear to show much, so want to make sure clouds that interfere with performance are not present. Tim or Jonathan would be able to tell you quite easily if you ask.

Good Old Gold confirmed no clouds...the inclusions on the stone do NOT impact performance.

Thanks everyone - I went with #1 and recieved the stone it looks fantastic...unbelievable sparkles and flashes of light...

Just one more quick question - the only significant inclusion the stone has is a crystal that is located under the table. I can''t see it without magnification when I look from the top but from the side I think I may be able to see it. My question is when the stone is set and is worn and gets some regular "wear and tear" dirt/grime on the bottom of the stone, is this inclusion going to become visible to the naked eye?

Any info you would provide would be greatly appreciated - thanks.

no contest, #1.

and re: the inclusion, you probably won't see it easily if you have to look for it. many times unset stones you can see the inclusions better depending on where they are. i have had a white feather in the table before and honestly the sparkle that a well-cut stone throws will block out most any inclusions. as long as it's white and it's not uber visible to you now, i wouldn't worry.
