so i went with my fiance'' to Fidelity Diamond to look at some engagement rings. we didn''t make an appointment and just walked in, also on a saturday. i would say our experience was a very good one. when we got there, they had some brochures in the waiting room along with a window looking right into the jewelers workspace...it was pretty cool that you were able to watch him as he set the diamonds right in front of you! anyway, so the receptionist brought us in, who by the way was very nice and pleasent, and sat us down in one of the private offices. i thought this was great because they made us feel very important instead of being out in the open like other diamond retailers who would have to keep one eye on everything else in the store and the other on you. our salesperson was very personable and taught us all about diamonds, even more than we had already known. she asked us about our budget, what we were interested in, and also mentioned that if we wanted, we could have something custom made. i was thrilled to hear that since i''m very picky.
i was interested in a princess cut diamond...the saleslady told us that if they didn''t have what we wanted in stock then she would make sure to order it so that we can have what we want. i was very impressed with their eagerness to please us.
we also looked at the settings, which were absolutely gorgeous. they had a ton to choose from and they came in white gold and platinum. it was a lot of fun trying on all the settings to see which one i liked best.
