Today is our 3 year anniversary, and although we didn''t see each other today, we celebrated this past weekend (I made the engagement chicken) and we just had a nice night. He got me flowers which I wasn''t expecting so I was excited that he did.
Things are going well on the LIW front. I am #5 on the list which is my favorite number, and I told him that I don''t know if I want to go out at #5 or wait until I hit #1 because, hey... I''ve come this far! We have gone ring shopping once and will go again but maybe not until after the holidays because we both haven''t even started our Christmas shopping yet. I imagine that an engagement won''t happen until the spring time, but he really wants to surprise me so who knows what he will do!
Classes are ending this week, and I feel so relieved about that because this is the most difficult semester of my program. Hopefully I pass everything!
And I am just excited about the holidays this year. It''s going to be a little difficult since it''s the first one without my grandfather (we were very close) but last year was really tough because he was in a rehab nursing home during both Thanksgiving and Christmas. So this Christmas while I will miss him, at least I know that he is at peace and isn''t suffering while we''re trying to celebrate because that was the worst.
I hope that everyone has a happy and healthy holiday season, and of course that lots of ladies on here get engaged during the upcoming holidays!
