Favorite Pieces Under $500

We are often sharing our more expensive pieces, so I thought it would be fun to look at PS pieces that were under $500.

Most of my pieces fall into this category. I have several Tiffany necklaces and bracelets that I wear all the time. My favorite Tiffany necklace is a tiny bell pendant that DH located in the New York store after it had been discontinued.

I have tons more but these were just what I have pics of that get worn a lot (well the apatite pendant arrived today, so it's just my new shiny). I have a lot of sterling silver stuff, especially with turquoise, lapis, and larimar. I do love me some blue pretties. I also have a lot of nice gemstone earrings from various places, especially Yvonne Raley on Etsy, that I haven't photographed yet.

I have a few that I really love.

The first is an Irish Knot necklace from Tiffany's that DH got me one year for Hanukkah. I'm not sure if that is the offical name, but it was something similar.

Next up is a sapphire and diamond eternity band from Dover Jewelry. I think it was $500 or perhaps $550 but I will still post it as I love it! It is shown with a sapphire ring that I no longer have...weird but I actually don't have a picture of it as a stand alone!

Oooh love this idea. I have so many... I'll limit myself to 4 though to fit in one post. The emerald ring is an ebay find, I think it would cost over $500 to make new, but patience and ebay make it possible. And one set doesn't include any gemstones, but it's under $100 and I love the scrimshaw, so I'll sneak it in

eeeeeeee, that's one of my fave rings ever! I have the HoW listing favorited and will be basing my emerald cut spinel ring on it. Does it have a thread? I couldn't find one in your topics.

My little milgrain stacker band I wear with my wedding bands was well under the mark...





A little group of vintage things: OEC earrings in buttercup mounts paired with emerald and diamond earring jackets. (Sorry I forgot to remove the clunky backs from them. I never knew til I got them I have droopy earlobes so wear the big backs to keep things pointed the right way) Vintage cocktail ring in yellow gold with green enamel (a bit damaged over the years now), my Victorian promise ring and a pair of cute little vintage garnet and diamond dangle earrings. They were made by Anson, I think in the 60's when they had a stint making women's jewelry. Two of the dangle stones are OECs and 2 are MRB. It's very clear I have a thing for buttercup mounts.

hi Gemfever- yes- it's a sapphire sugarloaf. At first I didn't think it was original to the ring but now I think maybe it is as I've seen a couple of others since then in the same style from the same time period.

What a great thread!!!! So many times here I am bummed because of the $$$ amount people seem to have to spend on sparklies, so it's fun to see pretty sparklies that are more "reasonable". (Reasonable being oh so subjective!)

Good point Gypsy, I've been thinking about the same thing. I guess the OP can clarify what she meant this thread to be. But for myself, I figured that since this is a consumer education forum, it may be appropriate to include bargain purchases. Many PSers find great pieces on a budget.

I bought it second hand from a friend here. It's a Sonia and discountinued unfortunatly.
