Farmstand Lettuce Grow... Are you out there?

Hi PSers

I am curious if any of you have invested in The Farmstand (Lettuce Grow)? What your experiences are? Are you successfully using it indoors? Outdoors? I am going to give this a good try and have already ordered it but thought it could be fun to share here too. I will attach a photo just in case.

Sounds cool, but $650?
Really?
Then $500 extra for lighting?

I was very interested, that is until I saw the price.
I'm very sensitive to things that are IMO ridiculously overpriced, especially with attractive design and slick marketing.

BTW, an investment is something you might be able to sell in the future at a profit, not a pricey item you feel is worth the price. I don't even think of FCDs as an investment, just a pricey thing I feel is worth the price.
