As a newbie, I''ve read again and again on the need to use an independent appriaser.
There are many forum posts on various aspects of using an appriaser but no comprehensive set of recommendations in the FAQ. The below link does a great job of convincing me to use one but doesn''t go deep into what to expect and which questions to ask.
https://www.pricescope.com/appraiser.asp
Would PriceScope please consider creating an FAQ on finding and using an appraiser:
- When you can''t use a PS appraiser, how to pick a local appraiser?
- what questions should I ask?
- what tests should an appraiser do and what equipment should they have?
- what info should be included in their report?
- example report?
- etc.?
This is so important and such a frequent topic, I thought it deserved a place in the FAQ
