Fantasy Cut Setting Ideas

Hi everyone,

I received this tourmaline from thebeardedgemcutter on Instagram. Please show me how you set your fantasy cut stones. Inspiration photos are great!

I don’t have any fantasy cuts but I just wanted to say how gorgeous the stone is! I hope you get a few options that include dramatic Art Deco versions! Beautiful stone!

oh em gee that is so cool! i could see art deco geometric or something more modern. one of my favorite rings on here is a fantasy cut aqua, i don't remember whose, that looks like it has waves carved into it. the owner had a setting made by david klass i think, that echoed the waves. such a neat ring, i hope whoever has it will pop by and share.

I don't have any fantasy stones. But yours looks like it has stripes, so maybe a striped black gold and white gold setting? Black, white, and indicolite blue would most certainly pop.

I love your new tourmaline. I find fantasy cuts to be so intriguing and I i no idea why I don’t have one yet. What are the measurements on this one?

I would totally match it with some purple or pink sides. Or (and this is a bold choice) an onyx halo & diamond halo.

Funny, I don’t usually like the 3 stone idea, but those colors match very well.

The measurements are 10.6x5.6x5 mm.

They have some prices on their website. They are expensive, but not insane given the high quality and unique look. I told my DH recently "if you don't know what to get, choose any of the things on here". I adore their aesthetic.
