Fancy colored diamonds

I am in research stage of subject. I am in love with fancy yellow diamonds and eventually looking to buy one but I couldn''t find a lot of information on the topic in pricescope tutorial and there was no option to search for fancy yellow diamonds. Any tips or info that might help in my search? Any vendors that you would recommend? I also have an idea in mind about the ring but I have to first find the diamond. I know there are different types of fancy colored diamonds (ex: intense, vivit, etc) so need to get more info. As always, any help is greatly appreciated.

There are some great books on the subject, the best/most comprehensive is probably, "Collecting and Classifying Coloured Diamonds", by Steven Hofer.

Diamond Guide posts a large selection of fancy yellow diamonds (mostly radiants) as well as some educational info. I've never purchased from them so I can't vouch for their service though their refund policy seems very fair.

Gary Dutton is doing what he normally does here by providing useful info and avoiding self promotion. Word has it though that he has good suppliers for colored goods there in Arizona...would certainly give him a call.

I wouldn't say the diamond-guide (Scheiner Diamonds) selection large, but their prices are fair. Like the Icestore site, they put up photos for most of the stones, which can be critical information when choosing a fancy shape and fancy color.
