Pricescope is aware of the following notice that AGS has sent out to their members, and since there are many AGS fans in our community we felt it important to share:
“We wanted you to be aware of a site imitating the American Gem Society and AGS Laboratories. The site is using our logos, digital badges, and other content belonging to us. They have created Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn accounts imitating us, as well.
The site goes by "American Gems [plural] Society" and "AGS Laboratories," and all URLs appear as "americangemssociety"—note the double "s." Please keep the similar naming in mind if you see a website or social media page claiming to be AGS or AGS Laboratories, and report it to us immediately at [email protected]. “
