Hey everyone I've been a longtime lurker and finally made up an account to post today!

We just put a deposit down on a diamond yesterday and think we found a pretty good stone. The only thing I'm a little worried about is the faint fluorescence. I've read that faint fluorescence is usually barely noticeable, but I guess I just wanted some piece of mind from y'all as well as any opinions on this stone.

Measurements 7.54 - 7.56 x 4.64 mm
Carat Weight 1.62 carat
Color Grade H
Clarity Grade VS1
Cut Grade Excellent

PROPORTIONS
Depth 61.4 %
Table 57 %
Crown Angle 34.5°
Crown Height 15.0%
Pavilion Angle 40.8°
Pavilion Depth 43.0%
Star Length 50%
Lower Half 75%
Girdle Medium to Slightly Thick, Faceted, 3.5%
Culet None

FINISH
Polish Excellent
Symmetry Excellent

FLUORESCENCE
Fluorescence Faint

Thanks for all your help! :D

Faint fluoro will not be noticeable and will have no effects on appearance in any real world situation. Even under a black light the glow will be well, "faint". In fact, GIA reports both "none" and "faint" individually whereas AGSL reports both under the term "negligible".

Thanks Texas Leaguer! Any comments on the stone overall? Is it a pretty decent stone?

Per forum rules I am not allowed to recommend or criticize another vendor's diamond. But other members will most likely give you their opinions if you give it a little time.

The numbers on your stone look great. Very likely to be a beautiful stone!
