Facebook question.

Is it possible to log onto Facebook but be invisible in the chat/message feature? I have two Facebook friends that are wonderful women in real life, but are truly more acquaintances than friends. They've never done anything unkind and I don't want to "un-friend" them, it's just that they LOVE the messaging feature. It always seems like they start messaging me at a super inconvenient time (IE last night at 11:30pm I logged on to send a woman written instructions on how to take the temp of a newborn.) I was meant to be on for moments and a one of the women began messaging me. I've been honest to these women about why I'm about to log off, but I'm starting to feel rude repeatedly rejecting conversations. It would be easier if I could just be "invisible" like the long-ago days of AOL AIM!

on the bottom right where the chat tab is you can click on it, go to options and select go offline. that takes you offline to everyone. or you could add those two specific women to a group in your friends list, and then click the little green light next to the group and you'll go offline to that group.
