Facebook pet-project!

Well, as we know on FB some people collect friends. I think the whole site is just weird and people always typing what they''re doing as if the world really cares. . .

So, out of curiosity, I wondered what would happen if I signed my cat up as a Facebook member. Funny - within one week, he''s aquired over 280 friends! He joined a few groups like fans of catnip and cat toys, and maybe that compelled others to friend him. Out of all those people only three asked who he is. The rest confirmed without question.

Sooo. . .well, as you can imagine, now that I have two accounts, I''ve gotten them mixed up a few times (forgetting to log out and switch to my cat''s account) and accidently friended cats when I was signed in with my real name. One gal had only 52 friends (almost all real people) and when my cat friended her, she immediately said yes. When I *accidently* friended her under my real name, she mailed me saying, "no, she doesn''t know me." lol

Lol I signed my cat Pepper up one day because I was bored. Occasionally I sign in update his status such as "Pepper is buggin the crap out of smurfy today by jumping in the christmas tree" lol
Sometimes I leave messages on people''s wall in cat talk (meow meow purrr meow) lol I get so bored it''s ridiculous!
Also sometimes I forget I''m on my human account and leave those same cat messages and everyone thinks I''m crazy
ps- pepper has more friends than i do lol

I only have a bunny and he isn''t signed up on Facebook, but there is a website just for bunnies to create profiles and upload pics and I can add other bunnies as his friend. It''s called Bunspace. Lol I feel like such a loser for admitting that. I joined when other members from my bunny forum joined, so we added each other''s bunnies as friends, not that that''s an excuse.

His original relationship status was "complicated," but then I changed it because it seemed weird that the only girl he''s been friends with is my 16 1/2 year old cat who wacks at him with her paws all the time. The relationship seems a bit abusive and the two cats bicker A LOT over silly things like who gets to curl up and sleep on the blanket on the couch, so I thought it''d be more applicable to change them to siblings since my kids argue over couch space, as well!

I''m not sure. When I signed him up, I thought I had a unique idea, but as it turned out, some of my cat''s friends have over 5,000 other cat friends. Weird and bizarre. lol (I guess that makes me weird too
