Good evening PS''ers!

Could you please provide your thoughts on the following?

1.513 ct G SI1 AGS Light performance 0, polish and symmetry 0, fluoroesence Neg. 7.29-7.36 x 4.54mm
Table 56.7
Depth 61.9
Crown Angle 35.4
Pav Angle 40.6
Star 52
Lower Girdle 80
Thin to slightly thick, pointed

I looked at it through ASET scope just holding the diamond with tweezers. It appeared like a good image. Unfortunately, even after reading the tutorials suggested here, it''s still challenging to know if what I''m looking at is acceptable. The AGS computer generated Light Performance image on the DQD looks excellent. Is this an acceptable image? Or should I be concerned because it''s computer generated?

Also, will this diamond look "big" in a 5.5 platinum solitaire setting?

Thanks!!

compare the image you saw to the AGS image are they pretty close?
The actual image trumps the AGS generated image.
The numbers are excellent should be a very fiery diamond.

Yes it will look big unless you live someplace where 2ct+ is the norm which isn't very many places.

Thanks for your kind responses.

In your opinion, would this 1.513 ct look just as big (and good) set in platinum solitaire as a 1.8ct?

I was shooting for 1.7ct-2.0 ct range. I found this 1.513 and it''s unbelievable! I just want to make sure it''ll look "big" enough and it''ll catch people''s eyes when she wears it!

Yes. Once you get to 1 ct., it takes much bigger jumps in carat weight to make a real visual difference. It will look very nice.

A 1.5c is about a 7.3-7.4mm, a 1.8c is about a 7.8-7.9mm.
