Eternity Ring Problems No More!

I have picked up my new ring made from the stones of my eternity. What do you think? I love it.

Addy - I know how quick was that. I was not sure I was going to get it back by Christmas. I love my new jeweller, he has a tiny shop near us and his workshop out back. I will be using him for more things in future. It is a 6mm band and nice at heavy at 11g (not sure that that is in lbs and oz).

Don't you think the stones now look so much bigger. I am so pleased. I want to wear it now but think I should wait until Christmas. Having it reset was my present.

Ok now my problem is that I am going to see my friend after Christmas and do I wear my new ring? If so what do I tell her and her husband (supplier of original eternity band)?

or do I leave it off and just never mention it. He told me that I should only wear the eternity band as best and so will not ask if it is not on my finger.

I want to tell her to just clear it all up but want to do it tactfully. Any ideas? Do I say that DH got it done for me without my knowledge?
