So after thinking this whole time that I would want a thin (1.8 mm) bead set band, I went and tried WBs on and to my surprise - I really liked shared-prong bands the best.
I know the risk of the girdles cutting into my e-ring, so I've been trying to find one like this Facets one http://www.thefacetscollection.com/item.cfm?item_id=2173 because it looks like the sides of the band are more flush with the girdles. Has not proven easy to find in a 0.7-0.8 ctw band.
So if it can't be done, I'll deal with the cutting
girdles. The part of my e-ring that is at risk for being cut into is will not impair the structural integrity of the ring at least.
Soooo...I need the PSer's help in recommending a WB! 0.7-0.8ish ctw (2-2.2 mm wide), shared prong, in platinum, $1700 or less. I'm open to 3/4 bands too.

ETA - I'm planning on getting a size 7 and putting sizing beads in - I usually wear a 6.5. Thought I'd mention this since size can affect pricing.
