Eternity band and diamond semi-mount

I have 2 lovely rings that need new homes listed on Loupetroop.

Nice sturdy wedding/stacking band. Has 6 diamonds set down in the band and a brushed/polished finish. DH liked that it looks like a socket from the top (men!). I got a new 5 stone and don't wear it anymore. http://loupetroop.com/listings/bands/white-gold-diamond-heavy-eternity-size-5-dot-5

Pretty little semi-mount that would look lovely with a bright colored stone. I've only found that yellow crysoberyl for it, and realized that I don't wear enough yellow to justify a ring. I'm interested in the semi mount, but would need to size it up to an 8.0-8.25. Do you know if it can be sized up that much? TIA!
