Engraved engagement ring and micropave band?

I'm thinking about getting a solitaire engagement ring that is engraved on the sides and top with milgrain on all the corners but then have the wedding band be engraved on the front/back and milgrain on the corners just like the engagement ring with switch it up with micropave on top. Kind of like this, but reversed (and with a cushion cut stone):



Does anyone have a mix like this? Do you mind sharing some pics? I'm afraid it's going to be too busy.

How thick do you want the engagement and wedding band to be? And how big will the center stone be?

I think those two will be your primary factors in determining whether the pattern is too busy. Hope that helps!

Here is my wedding set! My engagement ring is by Tacori and is all engraved. My wedding bands are 2-sided bead set pave with milgrain.

Oh and btw, the vision you have regarding the engagement ring and band sound lovely if all of the proportions work out. I've become a big fan of wedding sets that don't match perfectly, but that's just me.
