These folks, Prestige Gems, seem to have alot of ready-to-go options that would fit a 1ct pear (which is proving to be quite a challenge to set in new, attractive ways -- you rounds and princesses have it easy!).

Anyone hear of them? Work with them? They seem to have nice stuff, but what do I know?

Right now I''m drooling over some of their designs... if I had an asscher, princess or round shape to set I really couldn''t decide at all!

do a search and some old threads pop up. I have never worked with them but some of the pictures I saw had pave diamonds set with uneven beads and little things like that just drive me crazy.

i saw a setting there i liked, as well. i forwarded the pictures to see if something similar could be made by the vendor with whom i''m dealing.
their prices are good, the setting i liked in 18k was something like $550 - which would work nicely with my budget..

i don''t want to sacrifice quality though.
