I love animals, and a couple years ago before I started law school on the east coast, we were supposed to do all these things in the Bay Area before I left. One of the things was to go to the SF Zoo.

I just finished work for the summer on Friday (I have one year left of law school), so he took me to the San Francisco Zoo yesterday and I thought it was just to make sure that our old "list" was finally taken care of. Our four year dating anniversary is on Friday (August 7th) and we are going to the Oakland Zoo, and I thought it was going to be then, so I was really surprised.

Anyway, we both love giraffes, and we were in the giraffe/African animals area and after we took some pictures we walked over to the side and he said, "I just have one question? Will you marry this giraffe?" And he opened the box and I starting crying a little. And I said "yes" of course. It was really sweet because we are kind of private people and it was our own inside story. Now I want to cry again because he always very sweet and thoughtful!
