Hi! So I proposed to her on Saturday on Bow Bridge in Central Park...and she said, yes!
We are in love, and she's in love with the ring also - she's very happy with the choice.
The setting is Tacori's Full Bloom line, has 0.69 ct. The centerpiece is 1.51 ct.
Centerpiece:
Carat: 1.51 ct
Color: I
Clarity: VS2
Cut: Excellent
Polish: Excellent
Symmetry: Excellent
Fluorescence: None
Setting:
12 stones around the bloom
Carat: 0.69 ct
Color: G
Clarity: VS
Shape: Round
I bought at Michael C. Fina (500 Park Avenue, NYC)...so I think I paid a bit more premium for the stone than else where...unfortunately...but their service so far has been fantastic. In total, I paid $21,250. The ring size was tad bit large, so she's getting it re-sized today (was told it only takes 15-20 minutes to get it re-sized).
Anyway, I am attaching the photo files here! Thanks to all for your advice! it's been very helpful.
