#TBT ENGAGED!!! Inspired by James Meyer!

Finally engaged!!!! WHOOO HOO!! He popped the question on May 23, 2009 on the beach in Charleston, SC! I love it sooooo much, I literally can''t stop looking at it! It''s 2.93 carats total weight. The center diamond is a 2.28 G VVS1 and GIA certified. The side stones are .10 each G VS2/SI. It''s in 18k white gold and has two 18k yellow gold bands on the sides. I have to say thanks to everyone who posted pics of thier James Meyer rings. We loved them so much and wanted to do something custom from our personal jeweler in ATL. So we added a few unique touches, such as the four diamonds underneath the center diamond. I hope you guys like it!

The wedding band isn''t finished yet, but it completes the sets total weight of 2.93. We wanted to do a yellow gold band with scattered diamonds. We may add a bezel set eternity band on the other side. I hope the combo looks good, I can''t wait for it to be complete! But just to clarify, the engagement ring is a total of 2.68 carats!!! I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you! Both of our bands will be exactly the same, yellow gold on the inside and surronded by white gold on the out, just like the accent bands on the side of the engagement ring. Then they''ll both have diamonds scattered all the way around. I''m really excited about the concept and can''t wait for them to get finished. He''s thinking that my wedding gift will be a eternity bezel set wedding band, so that I can stack or put on the other side of the ring. I hope it looks good! I''ve been dreaming about this ring my entire life and it''s so exciting to finally have her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lol-I''m slightly obsessed!!
