I''ve purchased a stone from a brick and mortar store, but am still able to make changes at this point.

1.07ct
H
vs1
strong blue fluor.

I don''t have any other specs, but I can tell you that the stone looked very clean, and there was no haziness that I could see from the fluor.

The price was roughly 3500, because the price was lumped together with the setting that I picked.

Sorry I don''t have more specifics, but I was wondering what you think.

I was also looking at a vvs2, g, 1.21 and this was roughly 2500 more. I didn''t think it was worth it when looking, but i''m still obviously thinking about it.

if there isn''t a difference visually between the 2 in your eyes, then go with the one you already have................

Looks like you a one good stone there. Strong Flourescence is one of the frowned upon terms in the diamond industry, because of the blue-white scandal. Personally I like medium-faint flourescence. Strong flourescence is great too, as long as it doesn''t impart cloudiness to the stone. As a result of the strong flourescence your H color stone should look more whiter, maybe like a G or even a F color. If you post more numbers on the stone, experst on this board might be able to chip in more opinions. Do you have a GIA certificat or other certificates for the diamond you purchased? Can you post all the relevant numbers you have about your diamond?

iT SOUNDS THAT YOU HAVE DONE GOOD!!!!

FLO. , UNLES THE STONE''S APPEARANCE IS CLOUDY, THERE SHOULD BE NO PROBLEM..

ON THE CONTRARY, BACK IN THE GOOD DAYS THEY USED TO FETCH PREMIUMS....

ENJOY IT WITH HEALTH.

If anywhere else you could have found better prices, no idea... there isn't much better among the comparable (comparable by the specs given, at least) diamonds listed around here.

... unless there is some reason for the discount aside fluorescence (depth near 80%... "fair" symmetry or something).

Without some ultimate price guide infront, it's hard to tell where the last couple hundred went off the price tag, for what that matters.
