Hi guys, first off I'd just like to say what a great forum this is, I've learnt so much.

I'm getting engaged at Christmas and have decided to get my ring from Blue Nile (UK), I've fallen in love with emerald cuts so thats definitely what I'm going to go for. I'm wondering if anyone can answer a few questions I have, I know they have probably been answered on several other threads but I'd like all the answers I need in one place, so here goes -

1 - If I go for a VS1 clarity emerald cut will any of the inclusions be visible to the naked eye, or does it depend on the individual diamond?

2 - Can I go as low as a G in colour without it being noticeable (the stone will be under 1 carat if that makes a difference)?

3 - I've read a lot about emerald cuts on this forum so have a rough idea of what to search for, can anyone tell me if these diamonds sound good based on numbers etc-

The problem with fancy cut stones is that you REALLY need to see the pattern on them to know if they are good. Any chance you can get images from BN UK?

No it is not possible to see pictures beforehand unfortunately, I asked in the expert live chat and they told me due to lighting etc the picture would not be a good representative of the actual diamond.
