Ebay Diamond

Hello!

I made a bit of a "whoops" when I bid on: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320587451257&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT

No certificate, nothing. A genuine anti-pricescope stone.
But it's ridiculously cheap for it's size.

Nonetheless, I asked to have my bid canceled/retracted before I won it.

But now, I don't know... I need pricescope advice.
Is this a definite 6.0 HCA AVOID AT ALL COSTS diamond?
There's one picture of it... I know, I know, terrible.

Help??

Haha, yes, I saw that. That wasn't for a diamond though.
He's actually been very nice and understanding. But should I go through with it, just to ship it back? It's not exactly pocket change...

Well, he accepts returns inside of 3 days. Is that from your receiving it? If so, what do you stand to lose - 20 bucks overnight shipping?

That said, I wouldn't want to throw 20 bucks away, either, and I really do wonder what sort of a one-carat stone you can get for under 300. I am guessing either Si3 here translates to I2, or that you're going to get a fracture-filled beauty ....

Yes... If I had the spare $$ to spend on an experiment, I would totally go through with it.
But alas, 'tis not in the cards at this moment. I had the transaction canceled. I'm sure he'll be posting it up shortly, if anyone else wants to experiment with a "hunk of change" let me know how it works out!

And yes... it may be a fracture filled beauty, but you never know. I got an I1 the other day and aside from a carbon speck on the crown, it's kind of alright, heh.

LMAO!!! I too have done the "It's 3 am....thing and found my self in that situation. If you have insomnia you should block ebay from your computer. I need to do that.
