John wants to get me earrings for Christmas, although I''m planning on delaying the purchase until Valentines day, honestly. He HAS asked me for a list of possible earring suggestions SOON. I''d like to keep it under 850, but perferably around 600.

Here are some options, which would you choose?

http://www.whiteflash.com/Fine-jewelry/Diamond_Studs/Huggable-Diamond-Earrings_1133.htm affordable and lovely, I''m just afraid they are too small.
http://www.whiteflash.com/Fine-jewelry/Diamond_Studs/Scattered-Diamond-Huggies_1148.htm# ( I love these as they are just the right size 11 mm diameter by 5 mm wide, but they aren''t pave).
http://www.pearlmansjewelers.com/jewelry-designers/beverley-k-jewelry/earrings/24PP2/12/ Also afforable and lovely. Not sure I want milgrain though.

I lke wider huggies, like the scattered diamond huggies, but am wondering if they will be sparkly enough for me.

KtIceRN''s fishtail huggy hoops are TDF but I have a feeling they would be budget busting, though I am going to check the price on those.

Do you guys have any other suggestions for huggy hoops?

I LOVE the third pair! Classic, elegant, can be worn with anything. Yay for you for having such a decision!!

I like #1 or #3. I have a pair of pave huggies that I love. i wear them more than my studs right now and they are about the same size as those two. they are tiny though but do sparkle and are perfect for everyday for my lifestyle.

Well I am a milgrain whore AND I love Bev K so that would be my choice.

I like Beverly K too, but for about $200 cheaper, I would go with WF. $200 can buy something else...oh, but the budget is topped at $850...so you can buy something else. LOL OR, get larger ct. wt. earings. ;-)

Oh forgot, try looking at newyorkfindings.com...click on "hoop collection". There are some pretty nice hoops & I like how the description tells you how many stones at what size. :-) There is A LOT to see on that site. If you decide that you want a bracelet, there are pages & pages of styles. LOL I dont know if any PS vendors use them or not, but you certainly will be able to decide on a style....er..maybe not. LOL LOL

I''ll be the odd one out and vote for the scattered WF huggies. Those would suit *me* perfectly.

I just looked at all sorts of diamond hoops at a nice B&M store and truthfully, only the most expensive ones really caught my eye. That is larger stones, lots more $$. I adore the scattered huggies because they have it seems a substantial amount of metal and will look rich, yet casual. I''d probably wear them 24/7. Not high on the bling factor, but I just like the look. Good luck!

I''d love to have #1 and #3!!! If you can find out the actual size of both of those, I''d appreciate it if you could tell us. They all need to give the diameter of the earrings from side to side. I probably will get a pair for Christmas, too, but I need a better idea of the size. I think Roberto Coin makes nice quality hoops in about 3 sizes, but I have only seem those online, too.

I like the price of the first ones, but I think the diamonds end too soon for me.
The love the second ones, and they would be my choice if I had a pair of pave hoops already... I still might pick them as I like the size of them and how expensive they look.
The Beverly K ones are lovely. The pave doesn''t end too soon, and the milgrain adds sparkle. But none of my other jewelry has milgrain, and I''m OCD matchy at times.
Kt''s are, except for the price, perfect. I love fishtail pave, the 5 pointers are great, and the pave doesn''t end too soon. Plus the melee are ACA. I don''t have a price for them yet, but if they are even remotely reasonable, I might just save up for them instead of buying any of these. Maybe, I really do love the scattered diamond huggies a lot.

Ummm, I think you just answered your own question, LOL! I like the reg. huggies from WF a LOT, but I see your point about the width of the scattered huggies for sure. It sounds (to me) like you''d be happiest with those, so why not put those on your list first, and then follow with others in order of preference, and let John choose? Maybe I''m being obtuse here, but that''s what I would do, hee hee.

Bless your dear John''s heart, he''s so sweet to get ideas from you first before purchasing. DH does that with me as well, and he''s never gone wrong so far, he''s a good little diamond buyer, he is!

Gypsy you know that I am very biased but I love my fishtail huggies. They are perfect for everyday wear and are very noticable. I love how much they sparkle! Here is a bit of a better pic of them. I vote save and get these. Maybe WF can make them with 3 pointers? That may lower the cost a bit... but still pleanty of bling!

Hey Gypsy!

I''ve been looking at many of your choices for myself. I love the WF huggie hoops & the Beverly K miligrain huggies best & was actually at Macy''s last night trying on "fashion" versions of those style to see which I''d prefer on myself. HOWEVER -- what I realized was that they look more "hoop" than "huggie". Any kind of extention past the ear bugs me on myself. May have to look into very, very tiny huggies or snuggies (made that up) to get the look *I* want. I actually found a teensy tiny shared prong 1/2 hoop snuggie pair on one of those multiple pairs for a price cards & pondered sending it to WF for a quote on an ACA version in white gold. Just wanted to pass that on in case you have a similar hang up.

I really like the first ones! I have been wanting some kind of earrings for awhile..but they have to be lightweight. I wonder if shiny hoopy earrings would be a bad idea with TTot...babies are so grabby...

I like Kt''s idea....if they can do hers with smaller diamonds to fit the budget?

I like # 1 or # 3.

Deco what''s your budget hon? I may have found a pair that could be closer to what you want. Although I can''t be sure until I get the diameter size on them... looks can be decieving.

Plus I found another pair like the beverly K same ctw, size, 18K with milgrain, from another trusted vendor, for less than the designer ones, that I might take a chance on, depending on the return policy on them. I''m still waiting for the qoute on Kt''s too though, as waiting to get something nicer a little while might be worth it.

I seem to favor doing that, generally. Did it with my setting... and might do it with my hoop/huggies. I just don''t want to spend so much that I''m kicking myself for not getting upgradable studs with the money. Ya know?
