First I would like to thank everyone on Pricescope. My girlfriend and I have been together for 6 years, and have discussed marriage on numerous occasions. Well 2 months ago I started looking for a ring and had no clue, now I feel like an expert being a lurker. My girlfriend knows I am looking, but has no clue when I am purchasing and proposing.
I bought the diamond first from James Allen:
hca: 1.8

Then purchased diamond for $7,000 after the $400 pricescope discount.
I thought finding the setting would be a piece of cake, but it actually took longer than getting the diamond. I ended up purchasing a setting from whiteflash. The park ave setting.

After waiting 3 weeks I received the setting today. Since I wanted to get it appraised and set. I called Mark Bunda. He appraised the setting and the diamond separate. Then he referred me to someone to have my diamond set 2 blocks away. I then came back to Mark Bunda to finish my appraisal. All of this within an hour and a half.
Here is the finished e-ring.

When I opened the box for the whiteflash setting I was surprised at how shiny and glittery the melee diamonds were in person. I am very happy with the overall experience, from pricescope "lurker" to member. I will refer anyone to this website before buying an e-ring.
I am going to propose in a couple weeks, and I will put up pics with it on her finger.
Thanks again PS.
