i havent gotten coverage from chubb singapore yet, but i spoke to them about their policy and its slightly different from the policy in america. they dont have an e-ring only policy, instead the coverage of the ring will be under their 'masterpiece' policy. unless the ring is above S$25k, they do not require the exact receipt or appraisal, although i am sure it will be better for the insured especially if they bought an excellent ring from 1 of the PS vendors instead of the usual b&m's. i presume that the premium will be set at a % of whatever the ring costs, although i did not ask the exact premium rate or %.
