E-ring and wedding band spacer help!

Hi everyone! I am hoping I can get some expertise regarding spacers. I received my e-ring from Chris at ERD and I asked him to make a matching wedding band and spacer (as my ring has a donut) He told me that another customer of his has a similar ring for which he made a spacer for and that person is complaining that the spacer is sliding around and not hugging the donut. He thinks that I will have the same problem. Do any of you have that problem with your spacer? If so how did you fix it? Any advice is so so appreciated.

It has indentations that fit around the donut and its not staying in place

Even if it has an indentation, it is still going to roll around on the finger. I am not sure I understand how those cut-out spacer really do the job.
You might try an inexpensive 2mm spacer to see if that works. Here is one on amazon I had also posted on another thread.

Don't have the indention! Best to just have a straight, thin spacer band.
