I've never posted one, but I'm freaking out right now. :(sad My father is 60 and he fell a couple of hours ago. He hit his head, and now he can't remember major things and people. He remembers bits and pieces but says it feels disconnected. Couldn't remember where they were, or why - nothing. I'm so worried about him. ;( He's at the emergency room now.

I'd really appreciate any prayers that anyone is willing to say for him. Thank you.

Tammy, sending you and your dad bucketloads and bucketloads of *****dust*****dust*****dust*****
I will keep him in my thoughts and prayers. I pray he will be OK. Sending your dad tons of dust!!!!!

Oh no! I'm so sorry Tammy! I really hope he will be ok. Dust and prayers to you and your family.

Dust and prayers coming your way!

Oh no!!! I'm sending all the dust and prayers I can muster. I hope your father will be ok.

So sorry to hear about your dad, Tammy. Thinking of him and sending tons of healing and recovery dust his way.

DUST DUST DUST! Tammy, I hope all turns out well for your dad. That's very scary and he's WAY too young! Keep us posted.

Dust, dust, dust. :wavey:

He'll be fine, don't freak out. He might have been a little dehydrated or having a medication side effect, which made him faint/fall. The same thing that caused the fall, is probably what caused the disorientation. It's scary, but it's probably not a big deal at all.

Relax, deep breath.

Sounds like you are close to him. Lots of good thoughts, prayers and dust coming your way from me!

Prayers and positive thoughts!

lots of dust and hopes for a speedy return to health.

Tammy, big buckets of dust and hugs for you and your dad.

tammy-

I'm praying for your father and hoping that the problem is minor. Please stay in close touch with us and keep us updated. We care. And many of us have had family members go through all kinds of episodes for all kinds of reasons, so when you learn more, we may even be able to tell you which of us have lived through whatever it is that your father is experiencing...and share tricks on how to cope. Someone on Pricescope seems to have survived just about everything!

Major hugs,
Deb

Sending you tons of dust for your dad, Tammy

Quickly checking in to say thank you to everyone, it seems to be working! I haven't seen him in 2 years, and we've had our struggles. I was the only person (besides mom) that he desperately wanted to talk to because we were the ones he remembered. I'm so happy to report that so far, he seems to be doing loads better. Still missing pieces, but remembering more and more. He's no longer in that afraid bewildered state, and I'm so thankful for that. They just released him about a half hour ago. :))

I also booked my flight home, leaves on Sunday and I can't wait. It's been far too long and after today I NEED to see him.

Thank you again, really. It means a lot to me!

Tammy, I'm so glad to hear your dad is doing better & that you're going to be able to see him soon. Dust & prayers his way & big hugs to you.

I'm so glad your dad is feeling better! My FIL fell down maybe 3 months ago and the only person that the ER could get in touch with was me. He was disoriented and angry and didn't understand what was going on. He had hit his head when he fell. He's better now, so I hope your father just had a bump also. Dust and prayers to your father. And a safe trip home.

Glad to hear he's doing better!!

So happy for you and your family Tammy!!! Sending more PS dust for continued good recovery!!! :appl:
Have a great visit!!!

I'm glad the PS dust has helped, tammy! Perhaps it is a blessing in disguise, as it has resulted in a much-needed reunion. I hope he continues improving and you enjoy your time together. :))

Tammy, I am sorry I did not see this in time to pray for the initial problem, but I am thankful to see that he is doing better! I'll pray instead that he continues to improve and that you have a sweet reunion!

Glad to hear your dad is doing better. I hope his progress continues and you have a nice visit. Safe travels!
