2 days ago I was browsing the website to visit my favourite silver ring (Else Peretti Open Wave). I love this ring. It''s perfect. It was going to be my anniversary present this year (most likely...it''s finally time to replace the bracelet BF got me that his apartment ate). I L-O-V-E this ring.

And now it''s gone! I can''t find it on the website anywhere!!! How am I supposed to tell BF that that ring is the one I want if it''s gone?

Do you know what happened to it? Or if it''s gone forever? Or if it''ll come back magically cheaper, like your ring? Or if I''m crazy and it''s still there?

Ok, so what happened is that they are probably out of stock (online) so they took it off the website. This happens from time to time. They don't want to sell you something if they don't currently have it. Same thing with the necklace I just wanted. I saw it in the store and decided I wanted it (thought I'd buy it online) but when I looked online, it wasn't there anymore. So I called my store to order it from them. They were out of stock already so had to order it for me from another store and shipped it out to me.

I think they are running pretty low on stuff with it being the holiday season. Do you have a Tiffany near you? (I'm guessing you wanted it from the store but wanted to just show your boyfriend online) If so, I'm sure your store will have some. If not, they will get more in. When is your anniversary? You could always call your Tiffany and tell them you want this ring, it isn't online anymore and give them the size. They will surely find you one somewhere...

In the meantime, just show him this picture and tell him what it is

True. But my guess is what I said. On the safe side though, go ahead and call your local Tiffany and double check to make sure they haven''t stopped making it. I doubt it though. This design isn''t THAT old...

If they have stopped making it, I''m sure like I said...they can probably find one for you.

Oh, man, thank you! We do have a Tiffany's near us, and I hadn't even thought about calling Bill (my SA). I have his card, I might shoot him an e-mail soon. Or, you know, go visit.

I need to talk to him anyways about this whole tarnishing issue. He told me how to clean my starfish necklace, and gave me the silver cloth, but it's tarnished more in the week since I cleaned it than it did in the year and a half I've been wearing it!

Our 4 year anniversary is in a month (well...a month and 2 days!). BF finally said that getting something to take the place of my bracelet might be in the picture, so I got all excited, and then - poof! - it was gone.

Okay. I can breathe again, lol.
