*title meant to read dream ring IS here (can’t spell when I’m excited evidentially)*
Finally found my dream ring! After lots of searching hubby surprised me and we purchased this stunning 2.3ct radiant with around 1ct side stones! Obsessed is an understatement. It was previous appraised as a H VS2. Good cut, no fluorescence, very good polish, and good symmetry but I’m taking it tomorrow for a reappraisal. I plan on taking it to a local GIA certified gemologist for appraisal but toying with the idea of unmounting the diamond and sending into GIA. Is that necessary? I want to get this bad boy insured ASAP. Pics below. We have 3 weeks to return if necessary or if grading doesn’t match up or differs drastically. Also, any radiant cut aficionados can give me an idea on how it “looks” to the naked eye? I know that’s a loaded question as radiants are what you find appealing but boy this APPEALS to me so much
