Impartial, brutally honest opinions please? Which dress do you think is most flattering?

I''m not really loving my original gown. I tried it on again and still didn''t love it. It is a very ornate and lovely gown, but I feel like I look like a shapeless sausage in it. I think the other gown gives me the illusion of curves. I''d really love to hear your perspective.

Original gown: (Unfortunately this bridal shop only allowed one photo, so this is all I have)

Other gown:

Another of the Dora:

Last one..I know you can''t see her face, but isn''t my flower girl cute?

I think the first one highlights the curve in your waist more. The Dora makes you look straight.

Hey there. I don''t post often AT ALL, but I did want to comment to you and tell you how absolutely fabulous you look in the 2nd dress. I am in love with it!! I don''t think, however, the 1st dress is making you look like a sausage (you have a fabulous figure). I just happen to love the 2nd more.

I think the 1st one gives you more curves.

It looks amazing on you, IMHO!

Wait.. is the first the one you ordered?? If so.... you are insane! You have a lovely figure and that dress looks phenomenal on you. Sausage?!?! no way. I far prefer it to the second you posted (which also looks great on you.)

They both look great on you, but I prefer the original (#1) by far. It looks more elegant and streamlined IMHO. Oh... and sausage? You've got to be kidding me!!!! Your figure is amazing!

I think #1 is much more flattering to your figure; makes you look statuesque and has a GREAT line.

I honestly feel that #2 detracts from your figure instead of adding to it.

Ditto!! I love #1. Except I don't like the train - it's too much for me (but that's just because I couldn't be bothered having to pin it up or worry about tripping over it) but that's just my personal choice. I do love the dress itself

. Don't like #2 at all

- sorry

Also prefer the first one! Gives you amazing curves and is really elegant I think.

I''m also going through second guessing the gown I''ve already purchased. It''s natural.

Both gowns are very nice, but you do look better in the first. But if you don''t LOVE it, ask yourself if loving your gown is important to you. I keep watching episodes of "Say Yes to the Dress", and the bridal consultants there say all the time that if you merely like the dress, then that''s not your dress. You have to LOVE the dress, and it should make you smile and beam.

My dress did that, but I still am second guessing myself. Mostly because my wedding is 10 months away. I''ve since been to two bridal shops and have found that I made the right choice in my dress. But that''s just me, I needed to see other dresses to be confident in my selection.

I love love love your original dress! But to be completely honest dress #2 looks like ''the dress'' on you. I don''t know your personality or anything about you but you look comfortable and elegant in dress #2. As much as I love dress #1, I just don''t think it suits you as much as #2 does.

I think the first gown is far more figure-flattering than the second gown...

I agree with those who have picked #1. I think that it compliments your body very nicely. The Dora is pretty but doesn''t have the UMPH that #1 does.

I agree totally! Dress 1 is amazing and does show some GREAT curves. However #2 is more fun and you look so much more comfortable. If you don''t love # 1 then don''t wear it.

While the dora is adorable, the 1st looks so much more elegant and flattering on you. The 2nd dress actually makes you appear flat chested IMHO.

Once your first choice is fitted like a glove you are going to look va va voom in it.

They both have their pluses, dress #2 looks like a young lady getting married, and dress #1 looks more adult and sophisticated.

They both look stunning on you, but the first actually makes you look more curvy in my opinion. In NO WAY do you look like a "shapeless sausage"!

Dress 1 is more elegant IMO. You are wearing dress 1 and dress 2 is wearing you if that makes sense. Dress 1 looks perfect.

Ditto this - you look amazing in dress #1 - i love it!

I think it all depends on what areas you feel self-conscious about ... #1 accentuates your hour-glass figure. It makes you look elegant and sophisticated and glam. #2 accentuates your bust line. It makes you look sweet & demure & princessy BUT it collapses at the hip & gives an illusion of boyishness. A crinoline or something might help poof it out there, but the way it is now is kind of stark contrast to the top of the dress. Like the top & bottom are fighting -- on you at least.

Your problems with #1 are probably exaggerated because you only have that one view where you are standing in an awkward position. If you could see yourself from all angles I bet you''d see your curves accentuated rather than sausagey.

Go back & try on the samples for #1 ... get someone to take more pictures. You''ve already ordered the dress, what do they have to lose? I''d insist on it ... or sneak pictures. You need to know how you''d really feel in that dress & look from all angles ... before you order a NEW dress.

Cold feet is natural. Don''t stress too much about it. Just gather more info. It''ll help.

They''re both lovely. But honestly, if it''s curves you''re worried about, the first one accentuates your curves in a beautifully sexy way, whereas the second one minimizes them.

i personally like #2, i think its sweet and very cute, but regardless both do look good on you and you have a great figure.

You look fabulous in both dresses but I have to agree with most posters in that #1 gives you more curves (if that''s what you''re looking for). I do like #2 more though because well, it''s Dora. Dora is one of my all-time favourite wedding dresses and I heart her! Neither dress makes you look like a sausage, and with your figure you''ll look gorgeous in whichever dress you choose in the end!

#1 gives you a waistline and soft, feminine curves.

#2 makes you look straight up and down with a sweetheart neckline to give the illusion of a bust.

#1 all the way!
