Crasru, the clip you put up was great! And that dog was 11, wow.

The very best dog dancing (technically "freestyle agility") I've EVER seen is by Attilla Szkulalek & his dog Fly. Border collies are, of course, best at it. I'm awed at the precision of their movements & timing, truly incredible. There are rules in competition, such as that the routine has to use the entire ring & certain elements are required, some to be done in front of the judges' seats, etc. There's nobody better at this than Attilla. I don't know if Fly is still alive or still competing -- hope so.

Clips on Attilla's website: http://www.dogdance.net/english_version/clips/clips.html If that doesn't get you there, go to http://www.Dogdance.net, click on Clips. Best one is The Gladiator. Start there. Charlie Chaplin routine is also great.

Here it is on Youtube, but Attilla's site has a tad better quality vids: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L0RjKJfuPbE&feature=related

Laurie, Fly is amazing! Thank you so much! Dogs never stop to wonder me...

Me too, Crasru. Not to mention the patience & ingenuity it takes to show a dog just what you want for freestyle -- or anything. The bond created teaching & performing this stuff w/your dog must be just a delight. One of the things that sets Attila apart also is his choreography; it's superb. The other neat thing is these dogs have a total blast -- you can see their joy in every minute of it.
